For A Good Time, Don’t Miss Hackensack Riverkeeper’s

Comedy Night, Thursday, May 25, at Redd’s!

 

On Thursday, May 25, at 9:00 PM, a showcase of comedians will take the stage at Redd’s Restaurant here to focus the power of laughter onto a serious subject - stopping pollution in the Hackensack River watershed. The event is hosted by promoter Richard Carucci whose company, Steamroller Entertainment, presents comedy shows throughout the metropolitan region.

“After our very successful benefit for Hackensack Riverkeeper last August, we are glad to do another show for such a great organization,” explained Carucci, himself a professional comedian and a performer at the benefit. He has lined up a stellar cast of comedians from the tri-state metropolitan area and they include Kevin Rule, Ted Daniels, Danny LoBell, Hillary Schwartz, Andy Hayward, and “The Amazing” Lorden Palomares.

“These performers are among the hottest in the region at the moment and many perform at the top comedy clubs in Manhattan,” Carucci said. “They are known for the their first-rate sets and we are so glad they’ve agreed to perform for Hackensack Riverkeeper’s supporters.”

Both Carucci, his entertainers and Redd’s Restaurant are donating their services for the event. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to benefit Hackensack Riverkeeper’s ongoing work to stop pollution in the Hackensack River watershed and create an 8,400-acre wildlife refuge in the New Jersey Meadowlands.

Redd’s Restaurant and Bar is located at 317 Washington Avenue, Carlstadt, NJ - just north of the Meadowlands Sports Complex. Redd’s owner Doug Palsi invites ticket holders to come early for a pre-show dinner but stresses that reservations are strongly recommended. There will be a cash bar open during the performances.
