Joint Benefit for Conservation
Supporters of Hackensack Riverkeeper and New Jersey Ducks Unlimited participated in the first-ever joint event on September 5. The evening, which honored three conservation heroes with special awards, included Eco-Cruises on the Hackensack River (above) and cocktails and dinner at Tracey's Nine Mile House in Little Ferry. Rep. Steve Rothman (D-NJ9th) gave the keynote address, recounting his staunch commitment to Meadowlands conservation issues.
(Below) Mike Panos and John Spizziri from Ducks Unlimited and Captain Bill from Hackensack Riverkeeper presented special conservation awards to Clifford G.
