Mark Your Calendar: Hackensack Riverkeeper’s® Sixth Annual Awards Celebration and Sustainable SeafoodFest will be held on Wednesday October 19, 2005 at the Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe. The evening will consist of a food and wine tasting, awards celebration, and silent auction.
Hackensack Riverkeeper will present a Lifetime Achievement Award to Bruce Terris of Terris, Pravlik and Millian of Washington, DC for his outstanding work in protecting the environment. Carl Goldberg and George Zoffinger of the New Jersey Sports and Exhibition Authority will receive an Excellence in Public Service Award and Malcolm Borg of the North Jersey Media Group will be honored with an Excellence in Media/Arts Award. All proceeds will help Hackensack Riverkeeper fulfill its mission to protect, preserve and restore the Hackensack River.
