Mardi Gras came early at Hackensack Riverkeeper as we celebrated one of our precious natural resources - our volunteers!

 

The 4th Annual Volunteer Appreciation Party was held at the beautiful Waterfront Cafe in Carlstadt (www.waterfrontcafe.net) - Thank You Jimmy! After a hearty meal of N’Awlins style BBQ shrimp, corn & crawfish chowder, jambalaya and (egads!) PB&J sandwiches, door prizes and awards for outstanding service were presented. In addition to those listed below, our new Development Director, Diane Saccoccia, won an honorary Volunteer of the Year Award for her many years of volunteer service.
