Gala

Hackensack Riverkeeper has worked tirelessly to protect, preserve, and restore our river for the past twenty-five years.

Since 1997 we have saved over 11,700 acres of wetlands, woods, and waterways; held polluters responsible for their actions; held government agencies accountable; seen wildlife habitats restored; and reestablished equitable public access for the people of our watershed. And we’re not done yet.

We make a positive impact every day in the lives of the more than 1.5 million people and countless wildlife that call our watershed home. We do not work alone and cannot do this work without YOU, our supporters. You make it all possible.

Please join us for our Gala Celebration “Our River, Our Communities, Alive in Urban Nature…”
